We are a multidisciplinary lab that investigates mammary glands through a range of approaches, including cell culture, biomechanics, bioengineering, and various computational tools.

Combining cell culture techniques with force experiments, bioengineering, and computational modeling is at the forefront of several scientific fields (see here some examples, and more of them here). We aim to apply these approaches within animal science, with a current focus on the study of bovine mammary glands. This unique combination has the potential to make a significant impact on improving animal welfare, agricultural efficiency, and food technologies.
